[Planetlab-Announce] new mailing lists

As you may be aware, PlanetLab is in the midst of several
transitions:

o We have upgraded the software to version 2.0 (please
     follow the link on the home page if you haven't already);

o We are in the middle of moving operational support for
PlanetLab from Intel to Princeton; and

o We are establishing a "Consortium" to be responsible
for the future care-and-feeding of PlanetLab.

As part of the 2nd point, we are setting up a new set of
mailing lists, including this one. (You'll be receiving
other similar notices shortly.) This includes a new support
mailing list:

      support at planet-lab.org

which you should use to post problems that require the
attention of the PlanetLab support team. The old lists
hosted by sourceforge will continue to work for a while,
but will eventually be turned off.

The third point has broader implications, which I'll cover
in a future message. For now, you can read a little about
the Consortium by following the "Join PlanetLab" link on
the home page.

Finally, please mark your calendars for April 1st (really)
for the next PlanetLab workshop. It'll be in the SF area
the day after NSDI. More details to follow.

Larry
