thanks for this big step forward, the situation improved greatly as of your 
1.37 release
I was also able to setup a new PLC from scratch and to have one node 
installed
The PACKAGE_SOURCE trick worked fine and I could run setup_plc.sh in some 
30+ minutes which is still way better than the 12 hours yesterday.
Unfortunately I cannot stay any longer today, will go on tomorrow with 
uploading a key, and I'll see whether I can reproduce Renault's issue
