FYI

I'd also written a script named plc-config-tty that allows you to 
interactively review/edit your config.
Unfortunately it is not documented in the user doc - my fault I guess - 
and probably not even part of the myplc root image
It's in cvs under myplc, you might wish to give it a try

My personal recommendation would be to *not* edit plc_config.xml, 
there's already plenty of room in configs/
plc-config-tty enforces this policy, storing your local changes in 
configs/ only

and btw, I added today the support for myplc-devel with the -d option
