I checked in a workaround for this problem late this afternoon. The 
workaround is unfortunately to disable support for slice tickets until I 
can figure out what the hell is going on in the code.

You will probably want to wait until Monday to start testing again. Or 
if you're feeling brave, go ahead and re-download 2006.07.01, which I 
rebuilt about an hour ago with the workaround.
