Winson,

The root password on the bootcd is set to the root password you configured
with MyPLC.  Not having a root password, well, in general is not
recommended.

Which kernel are you kexec'ing to?  Your 2.6.9 kernel?  You'll need to
enable the device mapper as a built-in for your kernel.  That should do the
trick.
