Marc,

I mean the root password for the node after it is up.  Where in the
BootManager scripts can I reset that?  I don't seem to find where it was
set in the first place.

Yes, I was referring to the 2.6.9 kernel.  I'll enable the device mapper
and try again.

The root password on the bootcd is set to the root password you
configured
with MyPLC.  Not having a root password, well, in general is not
recommended.

Which kernel are you kexec'ing to?  Your 2.6.9 kernel?  You'll need to
enable the device mapper as a built-in for your kernel.  That should do
the
trick.
