The tagxid support is specifically related to a vserver based kernel.  If
you aren't using a vserver enabled kernel (and you are not), it should have
little effect on the system.   However, because you are using non-vserver
kernel, it might be that you wont be able to log into slices as the vserver
trampoline shell (vsh) wont be able to bounce users into their slice.  As
mentioned, it would be best if your mesh drivers were ported to a more
recent kernel and then I suppose you could just directly compile it against
our 2.6.18 based kernel.
