[Planetlab-devel] specifying VLANs

Just as a quick update, in the near future the use of plnode.txt will  
be reduced to containing the node key and node id. Only for backwards  
compatibility with older bootcds will it include the prior  
information (ip addresses, dns, etc.).

What we are doing now is directly at bootcd creation time writing out  
the appropriate ifcfg-* files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts.   
This way we should be able to more cleanly support wireless, ppp,  
pppoe, vlans, bonding, etc.
