I do not want to spend much time arguing about whether we arrive at a
new major release or not. But what you've mentioned above does not
appear to warrant calling for a major release number change. We
could just as easily call the db file planetlab4.3 or planetlab4_3.
To be frank (or marc :), I believe the internal plan was to arrive at
a new major release # when the externally visible interfaces changed
significantly, not just incrementally. Something on the order of the
geni_wrappers etc.
So lets discuss what will go into the "next release" and later decide
whether this warrants calling it 5.0 or something else.
