Lets also discuss what we can reasonable put into a next release,  
settle on a date, and try very hard to stick to that date.  I believe  
the 4.2 release (thanks much to your help) puts us into a position of  
being able to more incrementally clean things up.  There is a list of  
cleanup style changes in the 4.x track on svn.planet-lab.org.  We  
should add tickets for the things you are doing now, create a 4.3  
milestone, and start adding the things we'd like to see in that  
release at some given date in the not too distant future.
