I guess Luigi's concern was more like "are there any current plans to  
replace sha with something else", in which case he would handle that  
matter differently.
Luigi, is this right ?

 From what you're saying, it well seems that there is no such plan,  
and that an sha-based implementation could be of interest for the next  
coming year or so, at least.
Marc, is this right ?
