Thierry and Luigi,
I doubt we'll change things for PLCAPI wrt security/hashes/etc.
However, we are working on what is now called the "geni wrapper".
While I don't know the details, I do know that some thought was put
into changing security.
My suggestion is to move ahead with an initial implementation based
on what is known now, rather than speculating what might come down
the pipe in the future.
