talking of which, I am moving this to devel...

---

so let me try to summarize

- not 100% sure, but this sounds like there are mixes between centos5
and f8; in particular centos comes with python-2.4 while f8 comes with
python-2.5, so this would explain some of the messages

- as you use vserver your base OS can be anything; our doc refers to
centos5 b/c that's what we're using but that's up to you in fact

- the vserver should be an f8 one (that's what is recommended at
least, and what we currently use for public infrastructures); I can't
remember what the default for vtest-init-vserver is, so you might wish
to give an explicit -f f8 argument; and/or to check /etc/redhat-release

- I'm confused that you've passed a centos URL to vtest-init-vserver
(the c53 part in http://build.onelab.eu/onelab/2009.05.20--1l-c53-32/RPMS)
but now, since you've then overwritten myplc.repo you should be clear
- however you're obviously not...

Hope this is more clear..
