My recipe was for fixing the problems you observed when starting  
MyPLC.  That is, for the following:

PLC: Updating GPG keys:                                    [FAILED]

which occurs due to your vserver not having the proper capabilities.

PLC: Rebuilding Boot Manager:                              [FAILED]

The rebuilding boot manager problem is due to a failure with the GPG  
keys.

I suggest you bring up a vserver with CentOS into which you install  
MyPLC 4.3.  Its ok that the root context on your box remains Fedora 8.
