Our tutorial explains setting up the server side of the GENIWrapper
(plc.py [-r|-a|-s] -d) within the same vserver where myplc is
deployed.
Although we have not tried it, it looks like GENIWrapper could be run
anywhere as long as you configure the GENI_PLC_* entries in
/etc/geni/geni_config appropriately to point to the location of your
PLCAPI. (By default, it is localhost port 443...)
The client side (cmdline/sfi.py) is designed to be run anywhere. I
have primarily been running it on my laptop or within the myplc
vserver for testing.

This does not happen with our setup. Perhaps there is an issue with
your version of openssl? You might want to make sure you have valid
DNS entries for all of your hosts...
