[Planetlab-devel] upgrading from 8.1 to 8.2 postgresql

Hello Baris,

I've followed these instructions and when I get to the "service  
postgresql start" after the upgrade I get:

An old version of the database format was found.
You need to upgrade the data format before using PostgreSQL.
See /usr/share/doc/postgresql-8.2.14/README.rpm-dist for more  
information.

There apparently is other stuff that needs to be wiped out / fixed.
