Just a follow up -- I ran a couple of tests last week and verified that initscripts run properly if they are set before nodes are added to a slice, but do not run if the initscript is added (or changed) after nodes are instantiated. I'm assuming this isn't on purpose, and I'll do some looking around in the nodemanager to see if I can spot the cause. Scott
