[Planetlab-users] deletion of slice content

Suman,

I'm not 100% certain but I believe those nodes are all nodes that have
been having major problems, most commonly hardware-related, and so have
been either reinstalled or turned on for the first time in months within
the last couple of days.  For example, pads23 was booted on June 28th
having been unavailable since Dec 26th, at least according to
/var/log/messages.  I know the UCSB node had memory hardware problems, it
looks like it was reinstalled on June 7th.

There were some problems with slices getting deleted just after the
upgrade in December but I believe they have mostly been fixed, we haven't
seen any reports of such spontaneous combustion in the last few months.
