Bamba,
can you post a url to the full strace somewhere? (the fragment you
sent to support does not include the calls to setup the socket on
which the failure occurred.) If you can collect it with the -x option
(I can read hex easier than octal) that'd be great.
and perhaps send the relevant part of the code of nettimer? that
assertion is likely an expansion of an assert(errno == Exxxx) but I
don't know what the xxxx is -- that is, what error it expects to see
instead of EPERM.
