[Planetlab-users] ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

Dear Users,

We are currently in the process of upgrading OpenSSH server on all 
production nodes. A bug in the previous version may have been the reason 
that many nodes returned the above error when attempting to connect to 
them. Thanks to all users who helped us track this down; once the new 
version is fully deployed, we will provide full details to Fedora Bugzilla.

The fix is being deployed in two parts that may be separated by up to a 
day. SSH connections may be refused if attempted in the middle of the 
deployment. Please be patient, and simply try again later, if you 
encounter a node that refuses your SSH connection. If the behavior 
continues for more than a day, or you absolutely need to connect to a 
node and cannot wait a few hours, e-mail PlanetLab Support at 
support at planet-lab.org and we will fix the node by hand.
