[Planetlab-users] Planetlab and Native Multicast

    Hi all,

have been testing a bunch of nodes (almost 15) for availability of IP 
multicast and seemed that none of the nodes was able to receive any 
(active) multicast group.
My question is: is this a strategic decision when designing planetlab 
nodes, i.e. given as directive to administrators of planetlab nodes?
Particular to the site of my institution (ETH Zurich), all planetlab 
nodes are "out of the router path", where multicast routing is enabled.
