[Planetlab-users] Used Sockets Quantity

Hi,

   I'm encountering divergences when I query the number of used sockets on
planetlab nodes. For instance, when I do "cat /proc/net/sockstat" I
get "sockets:
used 2314". But when I do "netstat -a" I get an empty list. This information
about used sockets seems to be about the real machine and not about my
virtual machine. Am I wrong? Can anyone explain this strange divergence? Is
there another way to get the use sockets quantity more reliably?
