Hi,
I have a question on how to use /sbin/tc to check the bandwidth cap.
In the previous emails, it is said that the following the command
/sbin/tc -s -d class show dev eth0 | grep `id -u`:
can check the bandwidth cap on a slice. I tried several nodes but this
command gave no output.
And I noticed the class handles (i.e. the "1:xxx" numbers) output by
/sbin/tc are all hex, but user IDs given by "id -u" appear to be decimal.
Do I need to do a conversion? After conversion, I could find two
matched entries. I'm guessing one entry is for non-Internet2 route, the
other is for Internet2 route, given that there is a recent addition of
support for Internet2 exemptions.
Does any one have experiences or hints on /sbin/tc? Thank you.
