[Planetlab-users] PlanetLab Hardware Requirements

Dear Users,

Please note the sliding window of accepted minimum hardware configurations
for PlanetLab nodes (see http://www.planet-lab.org/doc/hardware.php).  You
will be hearing from the PlanetLab operations team soon if your site is
actively using PlanetLab and your nodes do not meet these requirements.  In
the mean time, please consider upgrading your nodes with compliant hardware
without needing us to bug you directly.

HP is providing discounted hardware to US-based academic and non-profit
institutions that are PlanetLab members.  All you need to do is visit
www.hp.com/buy/planetlab, create an account if you haven't done so before,
select one of the PlanetLab standard servers (there are both tower and rack
mount versions), and put in your order.  You can do this all online without
needing to speak with an HP sales person.
