[Planetlab-users] hwo to use iperf 1.7 (udp server) on planetlab

Dear All

    I am new to PlanetLab. I tried to run iperf 1.7 in UDP mode on one of the planetlab nodes as server, and run the client from other nodes. However, i noticed that after receiving the UDP datagrams from the 1st client, the iperf server just dies away, i.e. it didn't display any statistics, and the tcpdump didn't show any packets being received from the 2nd client. On the 2nd client side, there is one warning message saying "didn't receive ack of last datagram after 10 tries.", although it still states some number of datagrams have been set. 

    If i restart the iperf server after the 1st client, there is no problem with the 2nd client. 

    If i run the iperf tcp server, both clients can send in any order without restarting the server. 

    May i know what should be the right way to run iperf udp server on planetlab node?
