Hi,Besides, I have just tried my another TCP tool in a PlanetLab node to establish the three-way handshake with the same server. The tool worked fine half an year ago under a few PlanetLab nodes, but now it fails and the PlanetLab resets my TCP connections right after the SYN/ACK arrival. I have verified that both programs follow the example C code from the Planetlab VNET guide for creating and binding the TCP socket. Any ideas? Thanks.Edmond ChanFrom: renewman82 at hotmail.comTo: users at lists.planet-lab.orgSubject: TCP RST automatically sent after TCP SYNDate: Mon, 20 Aug 2007 11:45:51 -0400
HI,I have written a program to establish the TCP three-way handshake with a remote server "B". It works fine from my testing machine. But when I ran it from a PlanetLab node "A", I got the following packet trace captured using libpcap 0.8.3:NO. TIME SRC DST INFO1 0.000000 A B SYN2 0.120004 A B RST3 0.119988 B A SYN/ACKshowing that a RST packet is automatically sent *after* the SYN/ACK arrival according to the captured time. Any ideas?
