We are pleased to announce the availability of the
CoViz Visualization system at http://codeen.cs.princeton.edu/coviz/
CoViz graphically shows various PlanetLab usage metrics using
the TreeMap visualization format. Included are
+ basic resources (CPU, memory, bandwidth)
+ efficiency (CPU versus bandwidth, memory versus bandwidth)
+ site info (nodes, slices, slivers)
All of the metrics are color-coded, and the auto-advancing
slide-show is designed to fit on a 1360*768 wide-screen TV
or a 1280*1024 monitor. So, if you've got an extra screen
in the lab, you've now got your own PlanetLab monitoring
portal...
Feedback and questions welcome, of course.

P.S. CoMon also has some other changes:
+ it now supports extracting specific column values (see the
"extracting a few columns" link at http://comon.cs.princeton.edu)
reducing the amount of parsing that scripts need
+ all CoMon status pages have an expanded set of links at the top,
including CoViz, as well as per-slice tracking of runaway slivers
(see the Problems: slices link at the top of any status page or go to
http://summer.cs.princeton.edu/status/index_sliceprobs.html)
