Hello Felix,
The hello world intro documentation just shows you how to get around.
The main concept behind PlanetLab is the notion of a slice: a set of
virtual private servers running on the global PlanetLab facility. Once
you've figure out how to assign a slice to nodes, log into your slice,
etc., you can then run just about any binary as you would on a regular
Linux box.
