[Planetlab-users] Questions about PlanetLab node hardware support

Hello Keon,

Our next kernel upgrade will support SMP.  I suspect a basic dual core 
box will suffice.  No need to go to quad or 2 quad core procs.

4GB of RAM is good, as we have not moved to x86_64 yet.

In terms of wisely using your limited funds, I suspect that many small 
boxes (i.e., dual-core w/ 4GB ram) are better than fewer big boxes.
