[Planetlab-users] TUN/TAP support on 4.2 nodes?

Hi Andreas,

The tun/tap interface will not be supported in the initial release of
PlanetLab 4.2. However, if there is enough interest in retaining this
functionality, then we'll issue out a code patch to do so shortly
after the upgrade is complete.

You may want to consider using the new Trellis installation
(http://www.vini-veritas.net/documentation/trellis/poweruser) if
you're trying to create virtual topologies.
