It would certainly be feasible to ask if you are not too lazy, but I for 
example have nothing to do with the DNS of our site.

Only? So there is no more configuration file? I update a bootcd on a USB 
stick? Machine will boot from a CD image from a USB stick? Before you 
implicitly call me a lazy guy, drop your software guy attitude, and 
start thinking!
I was never asked to upgrade! And given above superficial advice from 
you, I expect it will bring me in trouble. So, expect no upgrade.
