[Planetlab-users] Sun X2100 as Planet-lab node?

We are investigating hardware to use as planetlab nodes. Our datacenter 
uees mainly Sun equipment, and we are wondering how suitable Sun servers 
would be. The minimum hardware requirements are not so clear in the Sun 
context.

For example would a Sun X2100 do? It would have a dual core 2.8GHZ 
Opteron 1220 with 4GB of ram. What about after 1/1/2009?

All the Sun servers use a built in ILOM for remote administration which 
would seemingly meet the PCU functionality. Would that be sufficient?
