[Planetlab-users] "tc" results in "RTNETLINK answers: Operation not permitted"

Dear all,

Sorry for pushing this. 

Does anyone have a clue why this is not working? Is this because of the virtualization 
of planet-lab nodes that this does not work in general, or is it more that a kernel module
is missing?

I am just trying to figure out if I can "fix" this by myself, e.g. by compiling my own kernel,
or if this type of measurement is generally impossible on planet-lab.
