[Planetlab-users] the library issue of gcc

Hello, everyone
Since the current version of the GCC on the Planetlab nodes is 4.1.2 and the subversion of the libstdc++ is 8, my project ( complied by GCC 4.4.4 with the subversion of libstdc++ is 14) can't be run on the Planetlab nodes. I can't recompile my project via a low version of the libstdc++ or just statically link my project, because some of necessary libraries of my projects have been dynamically linked to the high version of the libstdc++. On the other hand, I have tried different methods to upgrade the GCC on a planetlab node without any success. Any suggestion will be appreciated!
