[Planetlab-users] TUN/TAP support

I was wondering if TUN/TAP support is still available on PlanetLab nodes.

I read through the documentation here:
https://www.planet-lab.org/doc/vnet#id268144 but it appears to be out of
date. All my attempts to use the /dev/net/tun interface have resulted in
"operation not permitted", including the tundump.c example at the bottom of
the VNET documentation page.

Is there an updated version of documentation I should be looking at, or
another tunnel interface I should be using instead? I'm trying to capture
and modify all packets sent by my slice to a particular IP.
