Andy
I tried to register the new node; but the form requests that I have a
site specified there and our site at UNM is not listed.; Which one
should I choose?
Also we intend to eventually ( in the next weeks ) deploy two vini
nodes for some work we are doing with the winlab in the context of
the NSF FIND grant. The UNM site where the server will be deployed is
connected with both NLR and internet 2 but since the whole I2
infrastructure for the state is being overhauled and allocations
reconsidered I have no firm number on our maximum allowable
throughput yet. OUr first machine is rather modest; it is an eseries
Xserver 350 with a single p4 2.66 processor and 1 GB of RAM.
Hope this provides some more insight into our node. Hope top hear for
you soon about which site to use for registration.
Thanks
Henry
