[Vini-dev] Kernel panic problem during VINI working

Hi,

We have not really tested Trellis on hardware other than that running
on the public VINI (http://www.vini-veritas.net/specs). However, I
would expect the Trellis kernel to boot on a pretty wide range of
hardware, and I don't have any insight into why it's not working on
the Dell Precision T3400.

We are currently working on a new release of Trellis based on the
2.6.27 Linux kernel. This release should be more stable than the
current 2.6.25-based Trellis kernel. If you're interested in giving
the new kernel a try on your Dell machines, I will send you a note
when we have an initial release candidate (I'm hoping in a couple of
weeks).

Cheers,
Andy
